About Me...

My love for flowers originates in my grandmother's bay area rose garden as a child; something about the fragrant roses and natural beauty drew me in. Eleven years later, my passion for floral design bloomed in my high school agriculture class where I fell head over boots for all things floral back in 2006 and I competed on my FFA Chapters Floral Design Career Development Event team, taught floral design classes in the community to senior citizens my senior year of high school, and worked on the school farm growing and selling fresh-cut zinnias and other flowers. In college, I honed my wedding floral skills while working at the Fresno State Floral Lab. As part of my teaching career, I taught floral design to high school students - paying forward the skill and love in created flower arrangements to a new generation. During these adventures, I created flower arrangements for friends and family's weddings and events every chance I could. And for the past three years, I’ve worked for my mentor and flower gal pal Erica who has pushed my creative abilities to a whole new level. With an accumulated 17+ years of experience in the industry, I decided to branch out on my own and open SarahBella Floral Design in 2018. What I love most about my adventure is taking these naturally beautiful flowers, combining their colors and texture to enhancing its natural beauty, and deliver designs that bring your vision to life bigger and better than your wildest dreams using the best quality and as locally grown flowers available.

What’s with all the anemone flowers?

I chose this flower for my logo and as my signature flower because I love their meaning: Anemone /əˈnɛməniː/ - Anticipation and excitement for the future.
